Kelp thanked Lace for her support in his decision to remain as a protector for those on the island. He sent to those that would remain. *I send to you so you will know me, and if anyone perceives danger to send to myself and Lace to summon us.*
Kelp then turned to Silvermoon and took her hands in his webbed ones. "I wish you success in finding your missing tribemates. I know how their absence can leave a void in our hearts."
Kelp then spoke to Tidas, "Safe journey and return. I will keep them safe here. Are you leaving one boat behind in case we have to leave due to a threat? Not all of your people are able to handle the ocean as Lace and i can. And then there are those in wrapstuff..."

Lace nodded. She hadn't thought of that, Kelp could teach her everything she had forgotten about life at sea. Being on land had changed her more then she had thought, althoygh she never had been much of a swimmer.
She returned to the others and inspected the ones in wrapstuf, they looked in good condition.
She sended to some, to "hear and feel" if the one in webbing was still alright.

Kelp was walking along the beach at low tide along with several other elves whom he was teaching how to dig for clams. The long thin, blade shaped, clams (Razor clams) were abundant, and mighty tasty too when eaten raw fresh from the sea. The elves with him picked up the skill quickly and were having fun digging out the clams, opening them, and rinsing them in the sea water before eating the tender and sweet meat inside the shells.
Kelp wonder if his coralshaping magic might affect the shells of the clams. they seemed to be made of similar substances. He held a live, closed clam in his hand and carefully exerted his magic into the clam and its shell. As he watched the shell slowly started to grow spikes and spiral horns at it's edges. He placed the clam back into the wet sand hoping to see if this change would breed true in it's offspring.
The other elves having their fill of clams had started to relax and enjoy themselves, frolicking in the sand flats, running and slipping and even beginning to wrestle in some of the mud flats as well. Kelp laughed and joined in, looking for Lace to see if he could trip her up and make her fall in the mud. He headed towards her in a stealthy crouch. He hoped she remember this game they played when he was a young Pip. He being the one usually ending up on his rear and covered in mud and sand. Nothing that a dip in the ocean wouldn't clean up quickly. He closed in on Lace from behind...

Lace smiled as she saw the tribe looking for food. It all started to come back to her, how her life had been in her old tribe. Although it had not been so long ago, she had blocked some menories from her life, which had been foolish she now realized.
She laughed at the playing elves, it was good to see them laugh and play again.
She looked around to see Kelp, he had just been here and now he was gone. It made her a little suspicious.....
