Eidar looked at ShineBright. He had a found a new respect for her. He had always thought she was a little bit irresponsible, just thinking of the moment and not the safety of the Holt. Not that it had mattered, they had Frost to keep them on their toes....
He softly started to ruffle the hollow tree, but gradually making the sound louder, like an incoming thunderstorm. When he felt the time was right, he gave it all and ended the ruffle with a loud bang!
It was the signal ShineBright had waited for and she suddenly fell to the ground, disappearing behind a small surface uplift no one had noticed.
Eidar was too busy creating the momentum, he started drumming gently, so soft that ony he heard it, then he picked up the pase and graduatly ruffled harder and louder till it was a bit deafening to his own ears. Then he just hit the hollow tree with as much force as he could and he let the sound resonate across the open field....
He breathed hard and tears filled his eyes, yet he stood strong and listened to ShineBright's words.
He had heard the story of the Wolfriders before and eventhough the GoBacks had lived a simular life, he somehow envied them. They truly lived in the Now...
When ShineBright started to howl, he joined her.
“Owoooooohooooooowoooooooooooooooo….Ooooowoooooooohoooooooooooooooo….”
All knew what that meant. It was the Wolfriders Way to leave the bodies for the animals to feed on, some would hate this tradition and that was why ShineBright had decided that the Magic Pool would be forbidden to visit for a few nights.
Then only she would come here to see what had happened and if needed she would remove everything so no one would know what had happened.
ShineBright walked to where all the food and drinks were and poured herself a big cup with Kibas special brew.
The memorial had ended, now it was time to celebrate the lives of their dead.
Eidar was in no mood to celebrate their lives and he knew Frost would want him to stand guard, he would do that, but first he needed to forget, he needed to drink his sorrow away.
He walked to Kibas drink and food, filled his skin and walked away again to seek a a place where he could be alone. He didn't cared if Frost would scold him tomorrow, he didn't even know if he would be here tomorrow.....
She slightly nodded to Eidar.

Then she turned around. “Tonight we celebrate their lives. Tonight we will keep their bodies company, only to leave them for the High Ones to take care of them on their next journey!”
