OEH: Rescue-mission for those left behind.

Cove giggled when Grandmother scared Whitemoth.

Cove wasn't sad to leave, he had nothing left for him here and he couldn't wait to be on their way.

"Don't be sad Kashee, we will see them again! And you could fly over to them if they are close to shore, right?" He slapped his friend at the back. "Besides! I don't think Whitemoth will give us much time to pounder about what could happen. I intend to learn as much from him as I can." He started carrying the last baskets and weapons to the cart, he saw that their idea to bind the weapons to the side was very effective, incase of danger they could easily grab them.

"Kimu ~ Planes Runner? Skorva ~ CatRider? Is there something you want on the cart?" He didn't know if others wanted to add something, but he saw Moonstone add her belongings, who else would join them?
He hoped Whitemoth could pull the cart, if not they would help ofcourse.

Tidas saw Jaegertalon, Rivereagle and Sablequil step into the forest, he had no idea what they would do. They hadn't been in Ocean's Edge for long, but he still wouldn't want them to leave, they needed the numbers and he felt all elves should look after each other.
Maybe in his younger days he would have forced them to stay, but he learned the hard way that force was never a good way to keep a tribe together.

He saw Silvermoon and Santiara come back again and he gazed at Silvermoon. How long did he know her? She had joined them suddenly even before settling here, but it had immidiatly felt as if he had known her his whole life. It seemed she had been there where good times and even more when he was mourning the loss of his Recognized.... He sighed, he was glad she had been among those who had survived, even felt guilty for it, but that didn't meant he wasn't mourning their losses! Tidas shook his head, he was going down a known path in his head, making himself feel guilty for the way he felt.
He needed other thoughts!

A strange sound reached his ears, he looked up and saw the Troll pulling the carriage. He knew Trolls were strong, but even at the display of that much strength he raised an eyebrow. He walked over.
"May the Firstcomers watch over you, let prey fall easy in your hands and fresh water be found only footsteps away..." He had to remind himself that this was not farewell, just "safe journey and see you soon again".

He would stay here till all who would travel by land had followed the carriage..

Kashee walked over to Silvermoon. "Euhm... I guess..." His voice broke a little, he hated saying goodbye. "I don't want to say goodbye, only safe journey..."

Silvermoon nodded. "There is no goodbye here, only 'See you soon, my friend!" She placed a hand on his shoulder and pulled him closer.

The young boy couldn't keep his eyes dry, but quickly wiped the tears away. He nodded too.

"Besides, we will meet once in a while, before you know it you will see us again!" She brushed through Kashee's long hair, he looked so much like his parents, a true blending of both. **And you need to do some soulsearching too, find out where your magic went. But I'll bet you eight shimmerstones that it is still inside you!** She hugged him one last time.
"Now go help your friends, they are eager to leave."

Kashee was shocked! She knew? ShineBright knew he couldn't... Baffled he turned around and walked to the carriage, he didn't look back, just started pushing the carriage.


((OoC: moving to the Journey by Land RP))

With Skorva, safe and resting while well guarded by the surrounding family and friends, new and old, Kimu could finally, after so many nights relax some. She looked on with a sigh and a good smile. Then she turned to focus more on how to get things ready and helping out with other things Folks needed help getting done.


Kimu shifted her gaze to the one walking off in a huff. Her brow furrowed questioning in thought what that might be about? she shook her head and quirked a grin, figuring it was nothing to do with her. In her mind, her thoughts were dwelling on what to do first. what was more important that others were not able to grab? she looked around listening.



Skorva had not noted the words, as she settled in and fell asleep but, Kimu, Kimu had and turned to meet eyes with Santiara. "I will miss you as well, good friend! Skorva will as well. so much loss and too much is changing so fast. We will meet again, if only as spirits at the Great Palace of the high Ones. don't be sad. Sadness will make the journey more difficult." Kimu wanted to cry, feeling so much and not much rest from all of it. I must go by land, dear friend. The great cats won't be able to bare the sea and I am not much for it either, though I saw how Tidas looked at me, I can't take the sea again. I was made for land and trees." She giggled privately in hushed tone. She gave her a long big firm hug then seeing her attention was snagged by another, she let go and headed back over to the wagon and Summerbreeze and the others. Not far from cove and the ones he is with.


Kimu overheard the discussion about how to place everything and smiled at the lads. nodding she replied to Cove. "I think you two have great ideas. WhiteMoth might have something to learn for you two as well as you learning from him, hehe. But, as for me, I will be going shortly into the forest to gather some previsions and I think others have water covered, from what I over heard a while back. Weapons seem covered too. I will take Claytoucher and leave the other two felines to guard encase of trouble. Claytoucher will be good enough to guard me, plus others are already staked out in the trees and in low ground cover. So don't worry. I'll be back before the group leaves. I don't have anything but the cats and Skorva left in this place, except for friends....those not walking or floating will be missed till we meet up again in the new land." She turned to think on how to choose the best foods for long travel.





Each new day and most of the night, Kimu was off gathering food and medicine, glad to have others keeping watch and offering advice on what to gather. She was glad Tidas was there to guide the group, even if by the rear, and moonstone too was a big help, always silent and vigil. Kimu was feeling better and more rested with each passing hour. she wanted to leave this land of death that she had dared to hold in her heart as her home place, but it was now time to move on and look to a bright future and some hardship along the way.

Making it to the shore was a breath of relief from Kimu, she was so glad to see the Sea Folk well and seeming to be feeling better and the Healer seemed able to help again. Kimu helped load as much of the goods from the cart for those at sea as she could. One more night of rest and the split would happen. She spent as much time with her close friends going by water as she could muster before heading to sleep. Her Felines patiently waiting at the shore as she and Skorva say farewells to loved ones and dear friends before at first light, heading back to shore to start their new passage to a new home and a new beginning.
