Year 10,019: Ixoto's Den

Ixoto was bored and lonely. He was always so very lonely. In his den day in and day out, rarely venturing past its walls unless it was at night to gather what he needed by moonlight. What he could not gathered was traded for or stolen when the braver soul ventured close. He could not blaim people of course. He was himself and that would never change. It wasnt so much that he was evil he just... didnt have the same boundries and ways of thinking compared to others but he also had his standards and rules. His own moral compass so to speak. He never harmed other elves unless they harmed him first, and he never hurt a child. After that, well he couldnt garentee your safety. It wasnt his fault he was slightly... insane. He was raised by creatures that ate their own young when they where unfit to survive so things got twisted in his head.

Slowly Ixoto emerged from the back area of the cave, his long slim form wrapped tightly in black bandages. His chest being the most tightly wrapped, his hips were wrapped more loosely. He was pale with deep black scales that glinted greed along important areas of his body; hips, ribs, collar bone, pelvic bone, down along his spine and speckling along his shoulders. Long black hair fell braided to his hips, unbraided it would trail to his knees and a bit longer. His eyes glowed in the low lighting his body splattered with blood, human blood. It didnt bother him though as he walked to one of the bubbling brews and hummed as he stirred it with a large stick. this was his life, his home. He didnt care what the outside world would think of him. He was odd, but he was also beautiful... lost in a world of darkness and poisons, tainted and twisted. They would come to him eventually, they always did for their brews, poisons, and poultices. A healer could only heal so much after all. He gave a soft hissing laugh and waited.

Ixoto froze his blood covered form leaning over his bubbling cauldron of who knows what. The long forked tongue darting between the pale thin lips. He had his own strange poisonous beauty to him. He took a slow step back further within the darkness of the cave, would the other come within he wondered? Or would the smell of his mind dizzying concoctions steer the other away? He let his form blend into the shadows and he waited much like the serpent he was raised to be.

Not many came to him, unless they needed something. This one would run to, like all the others before him. He briefly wondered if he should have removed the humans vocal chords before retiring to the main room... if the human chose to scream he might loose this new, forked tongue flicked out, elf... an elf, a male elf. His curiosity grew an elf coming here, to me? He either is very desperate... or does not know of me. Matters not. Perhaps I will have a new toy tonight to play with, whether in my bed or in my chains... it matters not to me.

Ixoto blinked... well that was highly boring the silly thing already passed out. He sighed softly and slipped from his hiding spot and looked around making sure he wasn't being watched before stepped forward and scooping the elf up gently. He took him carefully further back in the cave where the fumes where not strong and settled him on a bed of furs a few of his snakes rested there but he trusted them not to hurt the more delicate creature. He stretched carefully and tucked him in before deciding from both the smell and palor of the other that dreamberries was the likely culprit. He sighed and shook his head before going into the back and silenced his toy quickly, "Cant have you waking up the precious bundle now can I?" he was done playing with it anyways.

With the bloody work done he cleaned himself of the blood then rejoined the main cavern beginning to clean up the area. Helping the fumes dissipate as he finished his brews. It would be easier for the other to wake if he helped reduce the amount of fumes. He set the tonic on the table for the other then relaxed on the bed of furrs and waited. Golden yellow eyes looking over the other as he resisted the urge to shake the creature awake or molest him, he wasnt sure which, he had been a lone a very long time, his sense of morals skewed, though he did have them. It felt strange to have a warm body so close, however much he was drawn to it. He was of the snake blood, warmth was almost addictive for him.

Ixoto's tongue flicked out of his mouth as he sensed the others heart picking up. so he woke quickly.. that was interesting. golden yellow eyes peered at the younger elf and he reached to tuck a bit of the curly brown hair behind his ear. He smiled and picked up one of his snake babies and set it more firmly on the sleeping elf's chest. They did so love the warmth and he was not as warm as this elf. "You may sleep more if you like, I wont harm you nor will my friends. They like your warmth. Do the fumes still bother your mind? I can lesson them more though it will take a few moments"

Ixoto gave a small smile, "No I am not your mother, nor anyone's mother really but I suppose you may call me that if you wish" he let a clawed hand drift along the smooth curls as the amber eyes opened and met his yellow gold slitted ones, "And a sweet morning to you elf brother." he smiled peered at the other. The snake hissed and moved along his chest more before settling on a warm spot and curling up. "As for a snake, yes I do believe there is a snake on your chest, Her name is Morra, she is such a sweety I promise. One of my smallest snakes. she wont harm you. See how she curls on you, your warm to her. Us snakes do enjoy warmth. so rarely do we get to feel it against our scales"

If the other looked him over he would find a hauntingly beautiful thin elf chest and hips bound, long black hair cascading about him now loose from the braid. Thin lips, slightly more angular features and pale skin peppered with lovely black scales. HE was indeed... creepy but no less beautiful, though at first glance it was hard to tell the gender.

The golden eyes glittered with amusement as the other asked his questions and looked about. He was slow with the other trying to keep him calm enough. He could taste the fear of the other, one wrong move and he would run screaming. He really didnt want this one to leave so very soon. "Ask as many questions as you like I do not mind them" then he smiled more, "Morra is very much poisonous a single bite and not even a healer could save you, but as I said she will not harm you, and no she is not my bond animal. She is my sister. These snakes are my family as I am very much of the snake blood." he paused letting the other take in that information and continued to run sharp claws along the soft brown hair. He tucked closer but not enough to touch forms, "As for my bond animal... he is sleeping I do not think you are ready to meet him yet." Ixoto knew the signs of an isolated elf, he was one himself, "your not used to being around elves. I can relate, worry not about behaviors nor manners. They are pointless in my den. Just dont step on any tails" he teased gently.

Ixoto gave a soft hissing laugh, "I have all the time in the world to answer questions if you provide your warmth a bit longer, my mother travelled with a group as well, but she found a home with the snakes... my father was a snake and yes... I came from an egg and yes I am poisonous but only when I choose to be." he spoke softly and evenly and his claws ran more and more through the soft hair then his other clawed hand came around and touched a shoulder, a cheek his touch colder than a normal elfs. The long forked tongue tasted and touched at the others nose and lips as if testing the air and scent about him, "I am Ixoto, I have not been around elves.. at all really, unless they wander to close. But most go running away..." he pouted cutely. "Did youknow snakes taste and smell with their tongues?"
